Note:  Each year, San Mateo AYSO determines the number of teams and the team sizes in each division.  Factors involved it determining team size include field availability, coach availability, and registered player count.  Attempts are made to a) allow as many players to play as possible while b) minimizing team sizes in the lower division and ensuring every coach is trained and qualified.
