LEAGUE REPORTS

League Commissioner’s Reports:

Regional Commissioner, Gene Batter stated that the Elementary Schools will be charging fee for use of their fields and they are requesting that the fees be paid upfront.  Since this request is last minute and we have not budgeted for this, we are not adhering to their request.  If any coach decides to comply with their request, they are on their own without Board support.

Gene also asked that Board members not wear their Board shirts when coaching, but encouraged everyone to wear their shirts at all other times to be identified in the event that parents/players need help.

Gene Batter, speaking on behalf of Brian Kersten, Regional Referee Administrator, stated that since we are a week and a half away from games, we need all referees to sign up and take the class.

Treasurer’s Report:

Rand Potter handed out a cash flow report to Board members.  He stated that there is a little over $107,000 in checking and savings.
